A little about Joanne...
Joanne was born in Connecticut and has worked in the Education Field as a mainstream teacher, bilingual teacher, and ESL resource teacher for over 20 years. She has a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Central Connecticut State University and a Masters degree in Bilingual/Bicultural Education from the University of Connecticut.Her experience in working with children in grades kindergarten through grade six.

She's also had the opportunity to work with children in China teaching English language skills to ages three to fifteen for five years. While working for an international tutoring company, Joanne also served as a mentor and coach to adults interested in being part of the Online Teaching experience.
Joanne currently lives in Florida. She has visited over 20 states in the USA! She is passionate about teaching, listening to various languages, singing, and spending time with her family. Joanne keeps herself busy teaching students math and reading skills, managing the day-to-day activities of enLengua, and tutoring students in the Texas School System. Joanne also manages her travel agency as a Travel Advisor with Terra Sea Sky Travles and loves planning people's dream getaway trips.
